You will need to show evidence of receiving income in the UK, but there is no minimum level of income requirement that is needed for this. After living in the UK for at least 3 or 5 years depending on whether you have a Talent or Promise endorsement, you will be eligible to apply for indefinite leave to remain (type of permanent residence).

You will need to obtain ILR (permanent residence) first and wait for 12 months before applying for British nationality unless you are married to a British citizen. In order to qualify for a Global Talent visa, you will need to meet the following requirements: 1) Be aged 18 or over; 2) Have been issued with an endorsement letter by a HomeOffice approved endorsing body or have been awarded a prestigious prize; 3) your application does not fall under the general grounds for refusal; and 4) Provided a valid TB certificate if required.
